With a ‘smart’ system in place such congestions can be avoided due to the rapid speeds of data processing by IoT devices. With the system able to predict and learn traffic patterns instantly with Machine Learning , the ‘smart’ system can now inform traffic centers in other cities that use the same road network, preventing any bottlenecks and traffic congestions from taking place.

The system can analyze data collected and direct drivers to bypass the construction zone as live instructions can be communicated through smart devices. Furthermore, other schools and workplaces around the construction zone can be informed to make adjustments in their schedules.
