A recap of the ideas, innovations, and conversations that are redefining the future of Telco.
DTW Ignite 2025 brought together global leaders, visionaries, and innovators to explore the intersection of AI, open digital architecture (ODA), and real-world transformation across the telecommunications industry. For ADL, it was a week of strategic engagement, showcasing how we’re enabling telcos to fast-track their evolution into agile, AI-driven TechCos.
CEO Spotlight: Anthony Rodrigo on AI’s Transformative Role

One of the standout moments of the event was Anthony Rodrigo, CEO of ADL, speaking on the keynote panel “AI’s Great Disruption.” Joined by fellow industry leaders, Anthony emphasized the transformative potential of agentic AI when embedded into the ODA Canvas—a modular framework for building flexible, future-proof digital infrastructures.
He also shared his perspective on how AI unlocks powerful new revenue opportunities in both B2B and B2C markets, particularly through smarter service orchestration, intent-based networking, and hyper-personalized customer experiences. According to him, the convergence of AI and ODA is empowering telcos to simplify operations and transform business models at scale—making IT a catalyst for growth rather than just a support function.
Tech Talk: How GenAI & ODA Are Winning the Telco Game

At DTW Ignite 2025, ADL’s Chief Technology Officer, Namal Jayathilake, took the stage with a forward-looking session titled “ODA Canvas x GenAI: Winning the Telco Game”. His speech explored how the combination of the ODA Canvas and Generative AI is becoming a critical enabler for telcos aiming to evolve into agile, techco-ready businesses. He unpacked how the adoption of composable architecture, reusable components, and cloud-native scalability is empowering telecommunication operators to streamline operations, reduce time-to-market, and unlock new avenues of growth. Emphasizing both strategic vision and practical implementation, he outlined the key dos and don’ts of transformation, encouraging a shift away from monolithic systems and toward modular, API-driven ecosystems. He also highlighted how scalable APIs and autonomous operations are central to delivering the agility, innovation, and customer responsiveness that define next-gen telecom. The session reinforced ADL’s position at the forefront of telecommunication innovation, demonstrating how our GenAI-powered, ODA-aligned platforms are helping operators navigate complexity, enable intelligent automation, and lead the Telco-to-TechCo shift with confidence.
Catalyst Projects: Turning Innovation into Impact
DTW Ignite also served as a launchpad for two of our most promising Catalyst Projects:

Mighty Minions
This project presents an Agentic AI framework powered by domain-specific Small Language Models (SLMs) to revolutionize customer engagement in telecom operations. It features a network of intelligent, task-specific agents—our “minions”—that work together autonomously to handle complex scenarios across customer contact centers, such as billing queries, network issues, and service activations.
The framework includes the Message Context Protocol (MCP) and an Agent-to-Agent (A2A) orchestration to enable seamless collaboration. These innovations allow the system to perform dynamic reasoning, intent-based routing, and context-aware resolutions—delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction with minimal human intervention.
Generative Orchestrator
This project showcases how Generative AI can be harnessed to accelerate product launch cycles through intelligent automation of service orchestration. By integrating with TM Forum’s TMF701 Process Flow Management API, the solution transforms traditional product onboarding workflows.
Starting with a product design document as input, the Generative AI engine automatically generates a TMF701-compliant YAML specification that defines the process flow. This specification is then ingested by an orchestration engine to automate the creation and configuration of products alligning to TMF 620 specification—particularly those utilizing NAS (Network-as-a-Service) capabilities.
By reducing manual intervention and enabling rapid, standards-aligned flow creation, the project significantly shortens time to market and enhances agility in delivering complex telco offerings.
At the Booth: Connecting with Industry Innovators

Our booth at DTW Ignite became a hub for productive discussions with Telecommunication operators, digital partners, and technology leaders from around the world.
We showcased how Axonect’s ODA-aligned platform helps telcos:
- Modernize legacy BSS/OSS systems
- Integrate AI-powered workflows across business functions
- Deploy and scale new digital services with agility
- Eliminate the cost and complexity of monolithic systems
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore live demonstrations of Axonect’s AI-powered ODA Canvas, offering a closer look at how GenAI can support everyday telecommunication operations. The demos showcased practical applications across areas such as customer care, network operations, and partner management, sparking discussions around how AI and automation can be applied thoughtfully to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
